Using a mixture of pallet painting, thickly formed application, glaze over glaze this painting was inspired by the Botanical Garden in Westwood California. During the Corona Virus Safe at Home episode, which is still current, this painting represents the importance of keeping the collective reach and hope alive and well in our collective experience. The primary central figure is reaching with hands and feet, along with her sister’s and brother’of another species. We are truly all one.

This is a glaze painting, inspired by both Hanalai Bay and Malibu, both of which I have spent time engaging in meditation and plane air painting…while the wind blew, and surfers searched for the perfect wave. This is packed with emotional calm and activitiy. Full of love. Took 57 hours to glaze, paint, focus on the feeling of the deep ocean, as a profound experience. Hope you love it.
